Together, they dominated Pro Stock through the early 1980s, capturing championships and earning a reputation for unmatched horsepower and precision. Their legacy endures, even after tragedy struck in March 1985 when Lee Shepherd lost his life while testing the team’s Hendrick Motorsports Camaro in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
