AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER - ERIC MEDLEN: THE RARE TRIBUTE T-SHIRT

A beloved driver. A legacy drag racing will never forget.

Eric Medlen was one of drag racing’s brightest young stars, a Funny Car driver whose talent behind the wheel was matched by a personality that made him a favorite with fans, racers and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

This special-edition CompetitionPlusStore.com tribute shirt honors Medlen with something different — the rare Ford Mustang test car, a piece of his racing history seldom seen compared to the familiar race-day liveries associated with his career.

Medlen died in March 2007 from injuries suffered in a testing accident at Gainesville Raceway. He was just 33 years old and already had established himself as one of the sport’s rising stars.

More importantly, he left behind an impression that went far beyond win lights and trophies.

This shirt was created to commemorate that spirit and the young man drag racing fans loved. The rare test-car Mustang makes this design especially significant, capturing another piece of Medlen’s story and preserving it for a generation of fans who remember him — and those discovering his legacy today.

This is the first of multiple CompetitionPlusStore.com designs honoring the life and racing career of Eric Medlen.

Gone far too soon. Never forgotten.
