In partnership with our friends at the RedLine Shirt Club, Competition Plus proudly offers this limited-edition Beebe & Mulligan “6.43 / 233.32” tribute shirt — celebrating one of the standout nitro machines of the late 1960s.
The Beebe & Mulligan team made headlines throughout the 1969 season, highlighted by its victory at the NHRA Winternationals. The car also recorded three of the fastest speeds of the year, including an incredible 233.32 mph blast that helped define the era.
At the 1969 NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, John “The Zookeeper” Mulligan delivered one of the sport’s most memorable performances with a 6.43-second qualifying run, eclipsing Jerry Ruth’s existing 6.68 national record.
This shirt also stands as a tribute to Mulligan’s toughness and legacy. Mulligan later passed away from complications related to burns suffered during that same Indy weekend.

For health, hygiene and product-integrity reasons, merchandise cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once the protective plastic seal, shrink wrap or sealed packaging has been opened, removed, broken or otherwise compromised.
To be eligible for a return, merchandise must be unused, unworn and in its original, unopened and factory-sealed packaging. Items returned with opened, damaged or altered protective packaging will not be accepted and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly after receiving your order so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Do not return merchandise without prior authorization. The return of an item to us does not guarantee or automatically qualify the item for a refund or exchange.
