The average drag racing doorslammer fan has little idea that Pat Musi was once a Pro Stock front-runner. The New Jersey-based drag racer ran NHRA Modified Eliminator before venturing south to participate in the IHRA's unlimited displacement of Pro Stock. Musi became an early star of the format, qualifying for the first-ever Mountain Motor Pro Stock race in 1977 with this car.
